Cynthia Hudson Vitale facilitates and collaborates on the data services efforts within the Data & GIS Services unit at Washington University in St. Louis Libraries. Her work has focused on developing shared domain ontologies and data models, as well as addressing shared data management and curatorial issues.

WUSTL & RDA
The Washington University in St. Louis Libraries are committed to the efforts of research data sharing and interoperability. Historically, libraries have acted as the portal to scholarly communications. Traditional skills related to information organization, discoverability, and preservation naturally extend to research data. RDA is unique in that researchers heavily drive and collaborate on fulfilling its mission, thus making the results all the more meaningful to faculty and researchers worldwide.
