RDA members are invited to attend the National Data Service (NDS) Consortium meeting, to be held April 4-6, 2016 at RENCI in Chapel Hill, NC.
This is the fifth in their series of workshops aimed at building a national infrastructure for sharing, publishing, and re-using data. The NDS (http://www.nationaldataservice.org/) builds on the data archiving and sharing efforts already underway within specific communities and links them together with a common set of tools designed to facilitate discovery and re-use of science data. With the organizational aspects of the NDS Consortium now complete, the emphasis of this meeting will be on planning its next series of activities, for which they are currently seeking contributions.
NDS is particularly interested in engaging with the RDA leadership, as the NDS can provide infrastructure for piloting and evaluating RDA recommendations.
